This policy explains what information the Slide app ("the app") and website collect, why, and what you can do about it. Slide may still appear as Invoice 2.0 on iPhone or Factura 2.0 on Android while the name is changing. The app is provided by WOW INVOICE LLC ("we", "us").
The short version
- You start with a guest account. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to get started.
- If you choose to save your account, you add your phone number so you can sign in again on another phone.
- We store the business information you type into the app (invoices, estimates, customers, items, expenses and your business details) so it is saved and synced.
- We do not sell your information and the app shows no ads. We use analytics and crash reporting to see how the app is used and to fix problems, and we measure whether our own ads for the app (for example on Google) lead people to send their first invoice. None of these receive your customers' details or what is written on your invoices.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings.
What we collect
Account
- A guest account is created for you automatically when you first open the app. It is identified by a random ID, not by your name or contact details.
- Phone number (optional): if you save your account or sign in with your phone, we store your phone number and send a one-time code to it by text message or WhatsApp. We use the number only to sign you in.
Information you enter
- Your business details: business name, address, email, phone, website, logo, signature, brand color, and payment details you choose to print on invoices (for example bank account information).
- Your customers: names and contact details you add, either by typing them or by picking a contact from your phone. When you pick a contact, only that one contact's details are copied into the app. We do not read or upload your address book.
- Items, taxes and discounts you save.
- Invoices and estimates, including line items, amounts, notes, terms, payments you record and their status.
- Expenses, including amount, date, category, notes, tax and which invoice they were added to.
How the app is used (analytics, crashes and performance)
- Which screens you open, the main buttons you tap, and actions such as creating, sending or deleting an invoice or recording a payment.
- How long screens take to load and saves take to reach our servers, errors shown in the app, and whether you are online.
- Crash reports and app performance, including how long the app's requests to our servers take.
- Device and app details: phone model, operating system version, app version, language, currency, and your approximate country (worked out from your IP address).
- Amounts are rounded and sent with their currency. These records are linked to your account's random ID, never to your name, phone number or email.
- They never include customer names or contact details, the text of invoices, notes or line items, or your business details.
- Advertising measurement (Android): when you send an invoice or save your account, the app tells Google Firebase Analytics that it happened, together with your device's advertising ID and an app instance ID, so we can see which of our Google Ads campaigns brought people to the app. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Feedback you send
- If you send feedback or suggest a feature, we receive your message, the app version and your device language setting.
What we do not collect
- No precise location data, and no tracking of what you do in other apps. On Android the advertising ID is used only to measure our own ads, as described above.
Online payments, when available
If you choose to connect Stripe, we store your connected account ID, country and setup status. To make a payment link work, we send Stripe an invoice reference, currency, amount due and internal identifiers. We receive payment identifiers, status, amounts, fees, refunds and related payment details so the app can show what happened.
Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout, not on this website. Stripe handles that information under its Privacy Policy. Payment features may be available only in selected versions or test builds.
Visiting this website
Our hosting providers process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information and the page requested, to deliver and protect the website. This version of the website does not add advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and anything you attach.
How we use it
- To run the app: save your work, sync it, and create your invoice and estimate PDFs.
- To answer support requests and feedback.
- To understand which parts of the app are used, find what is slow or broken, and fix crashes.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use the contents of your invoices, customers or business details for advertising. We use the advertising ID and the two events above only to measure our own ads.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase stores the app's data and runs its server functions.
- Resend delivers feedback messages to our support inbox by email.
- Twilio sends sign-in codes to your phone by text message or WhatsApp.
- Meta (WhatsApp) delivers sign-in codes when you choose WhatsApp.
- PostHog receives the app usage events described above (product analytics).
- Google Firebase (Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Analytics) receives crash reports, app performance data and the two advertising-measurement events.
- Google Ads uses those events to measure our ad campaigns.
- Stripe handles connected payment accounts and online payments where those features are enabled.
- OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare host and deliver this website.
These providers process information to provide their services. Some, including payment providers, also process information for their own legal, security and fraud-prevention purposes under their privacy policies.
When you send or share an invoice, it goes to whoever you choose (for example by email or a messaging app). That sharing happens through your phone and the app you pick.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and everything stored with it (including your logo, signature and any feedback you sent) are deleted from our servers. A copy of a feedback message that was already emailed to our support inbox may remain there. Usage, crash and performance records are kept by PostHog and Google for a limited time; these records use an account identifier rather than your name or contact details. An identifier is not a guarantee of anonymity. The two advertising-measurement events are kept by Google Analytics for up to 2 months and are linked to the advertising ID and app instance ID, never to your account, name or phone number.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: Settings → Delete account. This removes your account and its data.
- Access, correct or export: you can view and edit everything you entered in the app. For any other request about your data, email support@wowinvoice.io.
- Depending on where you live, you may have other rights (for example under GDPR or CCPA). Contact us and we will help.
Children
The app is meant for people running a business and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and each account can only reach its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
Contact
Deleting Slide does not close a connected Stripe account or automatically erase records Stripe must retain. Manage that account directly with Stripe or contact us for help with a data request.
