Terms of service

The terms for using Slide for your business.

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and WOW INVOICE LLC ("we", "us") for your use of the Slide app ("the app") and website. Slide may still appear as Invoice 2.0 on iPhone or Factura 2.0 on Android while the name is changing. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The short version

  • The app helps you make invoices and estimates, record payments and track expenses for your business.
  • You are responsible for what you put on your invoices, including amounts and tax.
  • The app does not give tax, legal or accounting advice.
  • You and your customers are responsible for the underlying sale. Where enabled, online payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Use the app honestly. We can close accounts that are used for fraud.
  • The app is provided as it is, and our liability is limited.

Your account

  • When you first open the app, a guest account is created for you. Your work is saved to it.
  • A guest account is tied to this phone. If you delete the app or lose your phone before saving your account with your phone number, your work may be lost and we may not be able to recover it.
  • You can save your account with your phone number so you can sign in again on another phone. Keep your phone number up to date and do not share sign-in codes with anyone.
  • You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and you must be using the app for a business or for work you do on your own account.

Your content

  • Everything you enter (your business details, customers, items, invoices, estimates, payments and expenses) is yours.
  • You give us permission to store, copy and process it only to run the app for you: to save and sync it, make your PDFs, and send it where you choose.
  • You are responsible for having the right to use the information you enter, including your customers' details.

Invoices, taxes and payments

  • You are responsible for checking every invoice and estimate before you send it, including prices, quantities, taxes, discounts, due dates and your business details.
  • Tax rates, totals and reports in the app are tools to help you. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice. Check with a professional where it matters.
  • When you mark an invoice paid or manually record a payment, the app keeps a record; that action does not move money. Where online payments are enabled, Slide can create a Stripe checkout for the invoice amount due and record the result. Payment features may be available only in selected versions or test builds.
  • You must complete Stripe’s onboarding and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement before accepting online payments. Stripe processes payments to your connected account. Stripe’s fees and any Slide platform fee must be disclosed before you enable live processing.
  • You remain responsible for your invoices, the goods or services you provide, and handling customer refunds and disputes. Stripe’s terms govern payment processing.
  • We are not a party to any agreement between you and your customers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

  • create fake, misleading or fraudulent invoices or documents;
  • break any law, or infringe anyone else's rights;
  • send spam or harass anyone;
  • try to get into other people's accounts or data, interfere with the app or its servers, or copy or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

Price and changes to the app

  • The app is currently free to use. If paid app features are introduced, the price and applicable terms will be shown before purchase. Purchases through the App Store or Google Play follow the relevant store’s terms. Payment-processing and platform fees, where applicable, are separate from app-store purchases and must be disclosed before live processing.
  • We may change, add or remove features. We will try to give notice of changes that matter.

Ending your use

  • You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete account.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the app. Where we can, we will give you notice and a chance to export or copy your information first.

Our liability

  • The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always work without errors or interruption, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of invoices that matter (for example the PDFs you send).
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses caused by mistakes in invoices, taxes or reports.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it: Privacy policy.

Apple and Google

If you got the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its support. If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
